Where more than one size of pad is suggested, then either of those sizes would be appropriate.
The Ultra design is bit bulkier than the regular pads as it has a ridged area of leak resistant fleece along the sides of the pads to prevent overflow, designed specifically for those hard to fit women who can’t seem to get full protection.
