I got my pads a couple of weeks ago. I had researched quite a few companies carefully and was especially impressed with the speed and quality of Renee's responses to my questions; she literally answered most of my emails within minutes or hours! I ordered a grab bag to sample the pads before spending a lot on my favorite patterns, and honestly, I w as expecting tacky patterns, but the ones she used were so pretty. I've used them now, and they really deliver in terms of comfort and protection. I will definitely be ordering again. Because I'm about a size 18-20, I had ordered the long pantyliners, but actually found them a bit too long for my liking; I think I'll just be ordering the regular length next time; the "flap" in the back kind of got in the way, but I can see how it would be a good thing in terms of protection in certain cases.The New Moon pad is invisible under clothing and although I had my reservations about the fleece "waterproofing", it works beautifully. At the time, I was having some continuous bleeding issues following a miscarriage and was so raw from wearing pads that I waddled instead of walking. Since then, I've added other products to my stash, but I like nothing as much as my New Moons. Those first pads I bought still work as well (almost four years on!) as the day I bought them. 

I have recommended these to many friends since I first came across them. Then I tried New Moon and I am over the moon! They're not nearly as bulky and being one piece I don't have to fiddle with liners. I bought 3 pads in 2 different sizes, 1 with tabs, for my first order just to try them out. They are fantastically comfy! These ones are all fabric so I won't have to worry about the plastic, leak-proof coating flaking off in the dryer like happened to my other ones. 

I was doubtful about the claim that the tab-free design would stay in place but it does! Though to be honest, having the tabs does help give confidence that it's not going to move around. I think experience will help me to overcome that worry.

So when I became pregnant again, I knew I wanted to stock up and use them for my postpartum bleeding. When I used disposables after the birth of my first child, I got diaper rash! I had no problems after the birth of my second child. I used New Moon cloth menstrual pads as soon as I came home from the hospital. I was so comfortable! 

I also used New Moon's nursing pads this time around. With my first child I got a case of mastitis at 7 week postpartum. Turns out disposable nursing pads can cause breast infections. I didn't want to go through that again! 

I use the thinner cloth pads during the day and the fleece backed pads at night. I have not had a single leak and am saving money not having to go out and buy disposable nursing pads. 

I love New Moon products. They are well made. I love buying from a small business. I love the environmental benefits and saving money. But most of all, I love the comfort of cloth. 

I've tried other cloth products, but have found nothing superior to New Moon. 

I just wish I had known about cloth sooner! by Autumn  I started using cloth with my son when he was 8 months old, and by meeting other 'clothie' mums the topic of cloth pads were often brought up. I pooed pooed the idea a few times but gave in in the end and purchased a few pads and have not looked back since! They are much more comfortable than disposables and easy to wash (this was the bit that was putting me off to be honest!) The best thing are the night pads as I was forever leaking at night with disposies and have not done with cloth pads. by DaisyJo  New Moon Cloth Menstrual Pads are a fantastic product! They are extremely durable and well made and are extremely comfortable to use. They are so much better than disposables, I'll never go back! At night I would often wear two disposable overnight pads staggered to prevent accidental leakage. With these cloth pads, though, I don't have that problem at all! Everything gets captured, and I haven't bled through once! My favorite style from Renee's selection are the Sleeper (XL) pads. I find them to be the most comfortable (although all are super comfortable!) and I never have to worry about whether they will leak. Those pads will last them for likely 10+ years AND they'll save tons of money by not buying disposables. So they are definitely the "gift that keeps on giving". I had fun matching the prints to their personalities too! Giving the Maiden size as panty liners is great because everyone can use those...and later, if they wish to buy any of the other sizes to complete their set, they can. 

Something for you to consider...there are tons of pads out there made of plain cotton or flannel only. From my internet research, New Moon Pads are the only pads with the heavy fleece backing. In the 4-5 years I've owned my pads, never once have I seen leak-thru. Never...and I have heavy, heavy flow. Plus, she mentions using high thread count flannel and a high-tech super absorbent inner core...something you never hear of with the others out there. The cloth diapers have held up wonderfully. My husband was skeptical about cloth diapering, but he now will champion for it. Disposables leaked the breast milk poop, but I have never had a leak with cloth. The diaper covers work very well. I find that the fleece sweats a little with a thoroughly soaked diaper, but I prefer them to the plastic or nylon covers. They have held up to repeated washings. The product arrived promptly and I have only good things to say about Renee's professionalism. Unfortunately, I have been plagued by irritation and yeast infections monthly for the last year. I even bought new pads and a cup out of desperation. My doctor felt that I should perhaps not wear anything internal at all. So, I purchased some of Renee's heavier style pads (I just had the New Moon ones) with the intent of using them my whole cycle. 

I was a little nervous, keep in mind I am totally not used to flowing heavily without internal protection. Well, it has been 2 cycles now and these pads are great! No leaks, I seem to flow lighter, and NO irritation for 2 months in a row!!! They are so soft, don't pinch or stick like disposables, and feel so trim because of their length (I find most companies pads I have tried with addable liners actually feel BULKIER due to them being shorter...the 12 inch length is great). The foldable pad is great folded widthwise for thickening the pad a bit in the middle but not the ends, especially if you need some more thickness but are worried things would show through clothing. I even used these camping and just folded one and tucked it into my shorts pocket in a baggie for when I was far from a bathroom. They also really do stay in place especially with a snug pair of underwear. The many colors were hard to choose from.

I have been using cloth menstrual pads and rags for seven years. During this time I have tried a few different brands. I like yours best because:

*They are soft and comfortable

Changing positions at night does not dislodge that night time pad. I was concerned I would feel the bulk. But I didn’t. It takes just a few seconds to conform to your body and then it is like it isn’t there. But it catches everything! 

I am experiencing less cramping, less nausea, less moodiness. I am happy because I do not feel sick! The wash cloths are wonderful too, and great in-between showers. Clean-up is thorough, quick and easy and I am not soaked like I would be after using a regular wash cloth. 

I can not thank you enough for creating these wonderful products and sharing them with us. Now I can have peace of mind when ‘my friend’ visits every month.

2) The product - I can’t say enough about how much I love this product. I actually look forward to getting my period now (never thought I'd say that!). My raving about how amazing these are has convinced several co-workers to buy them. I bought these when I started getting rashes from the disposables. I was sick of feeling so gross during my period.
