Heralding back to the old days where all socks were knit by hand, now you would be hard pressed to find many who have actually had the joy of owning their own pair. I love to knit socks for family and friends at Christmastime. Such a wonderful gift to give (and from the response I get, a wonderful gift to receive).  Hand knit socks are SO much nicer than store-bought, but most knitting patterns are difficult and hard to understand, much less knit. Over the years I have knit many pairs of socks and have modified and remodified the basic knit sock until I came up with this pattern...fast and easy to knit...then I wrote the instructions specifically to make them even easier to understand than any other sock patterns I've ever come across.
