Pottery makes great soaking pots.
Try a galvanized watering can. Can also be decorated with toll painting for those of you with a creative touch! And for those who really want to go "green" you can use the water on your plants (I know, sounds yucky but you'd be AMAZED how much your plants will love it). Mother nature's own natural fertilizer.
